“My family’s legacy of breeding Hereford Cattle dates back to 1822. I am the fifth generation on this farm”
My name is Edward Lewis and I have a farm in Herefordshire. Across 400 acres we farm, pedigree Hereford Cattle, cider apples, Hopps and cereals.
With over 50 years of membership in the Hereford Cattle Society, I’ve benefited greatly from their invaluable support and have thoroughly enjoyed participating in the sales and shows they organise. I am the fifth generation on this farm, with my son, Ben, now representing the sixth.
While our farm is diverse, our true passion lies in Hereford Cattle. This breed stands out for its excellent temperament, efficient foraging, and exceptional beef quality, making it a perfect choice for farmers.

We are committed to sustainable farming practices, and Hereford Cattle play a vital role in this by grazing on herbal leys and sequestering carbon back into the soil, ensuring a sustainable future for food production.
