A Proud Heritage

As one of the world’s oldest cattle breeds, Herefords hold a rich history. As far back as 1738, Benjamin Tomkins began commercially breeding Herefords in Herefordshire, laying the foundation for a global legacy. By 1817, Herefords were exported to the USA, and in 1878, the Hereford Cattle Society was founded in the UK.

Today, we are proud to promote the best UK beef on the market-renowned for its premium quality, rich marbling and provenance.
